So the Golden Globe Awards are on tomorrow night and you know what that means…it’s the start of the Awards Season…my favorite time of the year. Here are the nominees, which sometimes are a precursor to the Oscar noms:

In my attempt to run my own Oscar Marathon, I’ve started seeing the nominees, starting with One Battle After Another today. Wow, I loved this flick. DiCaprio continues to impress me. And Sean Penn…yes, love him or hate him, he’s an ACTOR! Nice to see Benicio again on film…more please. Right now, OBAA is my favorite film. (It’s the only one of the nominated that I have seen so that might change…it won the Critics Choice award for best picture the other night so it might hold). And after this horrendous week in the states of America, this picture actually gave me some hope. Anyway, onward.
